Most of the people are influenced by someone near to them,like
relatives, neighbors, classmates, some random guy in streets, social media channels, some video creators,some random subject and try to become like them.
Even the soceity and parents set high expectations, and end up
comparing their children with everyone.
People are different, their aptitude, skills, luck, experience. Peer pressure also pushes you to do things. These people take huge loans,credit card debt, spend on lavish vacations, to match with their peers. Some even buy expensive homes, luxury cars, luxury brands, fashion to match up
with neighbors and relatives. That crazy race is destructive by
nature. Expensive weddings in India, spending to the maximum, even using the cash reserved for emergency purposes. Foreign education just to match with classmates, neighbors and others, where they have a clear road map, favorable factors, while you have not. Perhaps they are just taking calculated risks.
The person whom you are competing with, have lot of inherited property, disposable income, connections, income from many diversified sources. So their lifestyle doesnt affect, even if they lose primary job, or sector crashes.

no matter what you do. They are very noisy by nature, and keep on asking about job, salary, marriage proposal and irritate you.
You end up getting the worst deal ever in these scenarios.
- For job search : You end up picking the first job, because of that unwanted pressure. You never test the markets for 1 or 2 months to see your potential.
- For weddings: first 5 proposals, you end up marrying them.
haste is waste. - Luxury goods: You end up purchasing lot of unwanted luxury goods,luxury cars just to stay in crazy race. They confuse you, and in times of distress, they are the first to abandon you.
- Foreign trips/ vacations: You will end up going lot of Foreign trips/ vacations, beyond your budget and financial levels, just to
match with that random guy on street, social media random contact, video creators. - Party spoilers: These people keep on asking for parties,
under somebody expense. They have no idea about others financial
obligations like loans, savings. That means, if you dont spend on
lavish parties for them, you dont fit their standards. Even they don’t reciprocate. They may relocate to other city in months and not reliable and first to ditch, when you are in trouble.
Those savings can be used for much meaningful purposes like fixed deposits for rainy days. They just push you, deplete all your family reserves. Worse than enemy.
Always respect your friends and near ones, and never push them to do things. Be happy with what you have.
